Kenya Ferry, Trapos sign concession for Sh5.8 billion Likoni cable cars

Kenya Ferry Services on Wednesday signed the initial Sh5.8 billion concession agreement with Trapos Limited for a cable car project.

The agreement signed by Trapos’ representative Eustace Mwarania and KFS managing director Bakari Gowa will be taken to the Cabinet for review before it is approved.

Likoni cable car services to start in 2020, says KFS boss

 

Commuters using the busy Likoni channel in Mombasa will start enjoying cable car services from 2020.

This is after Trapos Ltd and Kenya Ferry Services (KFS) Wednesday signed the concession agreement of the Sh5.8 billion project at the KFS offices.

The Likoni Cable Cars Express will operate across the Likoni channel.
